Marketing Case Study:
Main Stage Community Theatre
Marketing and re-branding for a local community theatre
Rebranding a Long-Running Community Theatre
Main Street Youth Theatre was started in the 90s with the goal of creating a family-centered community-based theater where the performers are local children, parents, and community adults.
Our agency was initially approached to rebrand and rename this local 501c theatre program, seeking to expand its reach beyond youth and coincide with the building of a permanent theatre venue in Bluffton, South Carolina.
New Logo and Website Design
Collaborating closely with the client, our team crafted a new name and designed a fresh logo for “Main Stage Community Theatre". We also developed a flexible website tailored for managing ongoing theatre performances, showcasing the theatre's narrative supporting local community sponsorships, volunteers, and participant involvement.
This rebranding effort extended seamlessly into social media platforms where we actively promoted theatre shows, shared inspiring theatre quotes, and announced auditions.
Creating Additional Revenue Opportunities
Understanding the necessity for generating additional revenue, our team proposed a comprehensive theatre sponsorship program. This played a crucial role in restoring the theater's audience engagement and community connections, serving as a platform for local businesses seeking advertising opportunities.
This sponsorship program included a multi-page brochure with flexible advertising packages priced for local businesses and proud parents, along with a website signup page. The implementation of this program resulted in immediate revenue from advertising sales and significantly more community visibility.
